FORMER CELTIC defender Shane Duffy snogged a mystery woman on a night out — while dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.
The Republic of Ireland international, 31, is dating Wag Danielle Mitchinson.
But there was no sign of her as Hoops flop Shane — in wig and costume— repeatedly kissed and cuddled a dark-haired companion at the WinterWonderland extravaganza in London‘s Hyde Park.
An onlooker said: “Shane had gone to such effort to look like the Wizard of Oz character and was very fetching in tights and heels.
“But he might have had some explaining to do when he got home.”
Partner Danielle has two kids from her time with former Manchester United player Chris Eagles, but she recently moved to Norwich after Shane joined the Canaries in the summer.
The player was a marquee loan signing for Celtic in their bid for ten-in-a-row back in season 2020-21 but was a huge disappointment in Scotland.
He left the Hoops after a “tough year” as rivals Rangers wrestled the league title back under then boss Steven Gerrard.
Duffy returned to Brighton and later moved on to Fulham before his latest switch.
But the 31-year-old has also had a turbulent love life.
In 2017, he was at the centre of a bust-up after a picture of him naked in a woman’s bed was put online and seen by his then-girlfriend.
He was linked to Katie Price after she reportedly took one of her children to watch him play football.
Meanwhile angry Hoops fans turned their anger on the board during Celtic’s 2-0 defeat at home to Hearts.
Unsavoury chants rang around Parkhead protesting against chairman Peter Lawwell and angry scenes were witnessed as the reigning champions gave up more points in the SPFL Premiership.
Brendan Rodgers’ side still sit five points clear at the top of the table, but rivals Rangers have two games in hand.
They were off duty in the league this weekend and face Aberdeen at Hampden in the Viaplay Cup Final on Sunday.
The Old Firm meet later this month on December 30, back at Celtic Park.
